Card readers can be installed inside or outside of an elevator to control the access to that floor or lift. Each floor can be programmed to allow access to certain access control cards or group of cards.

There are several forms of lift control from low level integration basic relays to high level network integration access to floors can be configured to provide feedback and report what floor the cardholder accessed. 

You may have noticed with some access control systems one person swipes a card and selects a floor other floors are still unlocked and allow for another person in the lift to gain access to a floor they are not allowed to go to. Lift button feedback provides the signal of what floor the card holder has selected and instantly secures the rest of the floor list.

We have high level integrations HLI already designed for all major elevator brands, Otis, Kone, Schindler and any others. The benefit of using a HLI is there is a lot less equipment required a relay for each floor is not required a simple command via IP or serial data between our controllers to the lift controllers provides the instruction.
